The Subversive Symphony

  About That Time
I have recorded four new poems. They are The Devil's Staircase, which is loosely inspired by a dream I had; Sellout, a venting of various frustrations and vague imagery and its successor-sequel, This Repetition; and last but not least, a tourdeforce of my fascination with the glorification of the morbid, and perhaps the creepiest thing I have ever done: Little Girl

Tell me what you think.

I really liked Little Girl but i thought it sort of seperated itself about halfway through. Where you talk about the searching in the forest, I dunno, it did not really follow on for me. Still i liked it though.

I must have listened to "Little Girl" ten times already... going back and listening to the different pieces over and over: "squeeze it like a secret", "sticky veins", the expressiveness in your voice is beautifully compelling. I love it. It doesn't sound at all like the others. That's what I've been craving; I wanted to hear something very different. I do think you could use more contrasting themes, even though your words and your voice are beautiful.
Your language fascinates me.

I will read your novel.

Though currently non-existant, and perhaps still uncontemplated, should it ever exist, I will devour it.

glad to hear it, person-with-very-untimely-name. if i ever have the focus to write an ENTIRE NOVEL, that is.

Then perhaps you could just write sentences ...in bulk. It's funny how that's all a novel really is: sentences. words. punctuation. all thrown together in hopes of successful self-expression.
